If you're headed out toward Igo, expect smoke. Cal Fire's Shasta-Trinity Unit plans to burn about 237 acres of non-native grasses, brush and dead and downed trees off Lower Gas Point Road, southwest of the Igo Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Cal Fire plans the work from Monday, Nov. 2, through Wednesday, Nov. 4, and KQMS Radio says the burning happens only if conditions are just right.
