- ➤ Starting June 8, Raising Shasta will expand summer hours at its teen centers in Anderson and Redding, open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The centers will offer games, cooking classes, and boxing training (via the sheriff’s PAL program) as free drop-in spaces for teens. KRCR
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Whiskeytown National Recreation Area west of town offers seven-day passes starting at $15 for pedestrians, $20 for motorcycles, and $25 for vehicles (similar prices apply at Lassen and Lava Beds with discounts for veterans and seniors).
