- ➤ The Good News Rescue Mission will host its annual Great Thanksgiving Banquet on November 26 at Veda Street with seatings at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m., and 6 p.m. The event (200 volunteers are expected to serve over 800 meals) will also include a coat closet opening at 9 a.m. (offering free winter coats to those in need).
