- ➤ On Saturday morning, over 3,200 people gathered at Redding City Hall for the peaceful 'No Kings' Day of Action and marched from Cypress Avenue to Hartnell Avenue to show their support for democracy—families, veterans and longtime activists carried creative signs throughout the route. - ➤ The annual Salmon Festival at the Coleman Fish Hatchery in Shasta County was canceled because a government shutdown has reached its 17th day. The hatchery said the shutdown halted all festival plans and may affect local visitors. Action News Now
