Good morning, Redding.

Michaels is launching The Knit-Sew Shop, a new in-store area that will offer Joann-branded fabric, yarn, and sewing supplies along with a new Party Shop featuring more party items; the move returns Joann products to stores after the brand closed all its locations earlier this year. The new sections will be available in local Michaels stores including Redding to meet growing customer demand.

On National Public Lands Day, volunteers will meet at the HCCP Parking area by 9 am to clean up a stretch of Clear Creek Road around the Preserve for 2-3 hours, and they will receive vests, tools, and garbage bags plus lunch and snacks at Carl’s Jr in Westwood village.
