- ➤ A Friday night traffic stop on Happy Valley Road led K-9 Jed to detect narcotics and resulted in the arrest of 46-year-old Cottonwood man Joshua Allen Fitch for DUI on a narcotic and multiple narcotics and firearms charges — his car held over 2 1/2 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, 145.2 grams of suspected cocaine, oxycodone pills, two loaded handguns, and $6,610 before he was taken to Shasta County Jail.
