- ➤ Registrar of Voters Clint Curtis will ask supervisors on Tuesday for an extra $2.6 million to pay for cameras, ballot printers and lease improvements for a new building on Dana Street designed to boost trust in elections. Curtis said he will spread future funding requests over four years and suggests using part of the $34 million saved for a new jail for the upgrades. ShastaScout
