CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Shasta County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Vincent Michael Souza, 24, on June 7 for attempted murder after he stabbed a victim during a dispute at a Bridge Lane residence in Redding—his father was also taken into custody for resisting officers. KRCR
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Redding's Sundial Comic Con will return this summer on August 2nd at the Red Lion Hotel on Hilltop Drive from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and organizer Chris Munday announced that panelists such as William Salyers, Sam Marin, Holly Chou, and Jeremy Inman will join the event — local comic book artists will also have booths — promising an engaging day for fans.
