- ➤ Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency and Raising Shasta will host the Annual Children’s Memorial Flag Raising ceremony at 9 a.m. Friday, April 24 at Whistle Stop Park in Redding to honor local children who died from abuse, marking the close of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. - ➤ Growing Healthy Children will host its 20th annual run and walk at Bidwell Park's One Mile Recreation Area on April 25 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., featuring a 1-mile family walk and 5K run with t-shirts for the first 300 registrants. Action News Now
