- ➤ The City of Redding approved a temporary alcohol zone on Hilltop Drive for the Kool April Nites Cruise on April 24. The zone will run from 6 to 9 p.m. and require participants 21 and older to buy drinks from licensed vendors & follow marked boundaries. KRCR
- ➤ RABA launched Tap2Ride, a new contactless fare payment system that lets riders pay with a debit or credit card or mobile wallet while still accepting cash. The agency also introduced online enrollment for low-income fare discounts (serving about 5,500 households) to improve convenience on fixed-route services. Action News Now
