- ➤ After a 2018 law change, a Shasta County judge ruled that Kevin Frank Lemmon will remain convicted for the 2011 hotel murder of Steven Johnny Johnson after Lemmon challenged his role+ the judge said his major participation and reckless indifference to life justified the decision. KQMS

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Starting Monday, the City of Redding began roadwork on Harpole and Churn Creek Roads and today on Masonic Avenue for the ARPA Storm Drain Project—motorists are asked to drive carefully until May 9. The project will replace old catch basins and pipes and repair pavement, curbs, and sidewalks to improve drainage and safety. KRCR
