GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Mayor Jack Munns will nominate retired Beverly Hills police officer Blake Nance and local political activist Erin Ryan at tomorrow’s city council meeting to fill two Planning Commission seats after a tie vote on April 1 halted earlier nominations. Redding developer Joshua Johnson said he respects the mayor’s decision and believes the change will balance the commission by adding fresh cultural and environmental viewpoints — addressing concerns over too many members focused solely on construction.
