- ➤ FaithWorks partners with Shasta County agencies to build Parkview Haven, a 14-unit modular housing project near City Hall to provide permanent housing for unsheltered residents — units are set to be delivered in June with move-in planned for September or October. KRCR

- ➤ Lawmakers introduced a bill that directs the Department of Fish and Wildlife to study reintroducing grizzly bears, with a roadmap due by June 30+ plan to include scientific assessments and consultation with tribes and local governments.
