- ➤ The 2025-26 Northern Section girls soccer playoffs are underway in Divisions I-III. The Division II play-in between Anderson and Central Valley took place on Tuesday and first-round matches for teams (including Shasta, the top local team, and West Valley) are set for Thursday, Feb. 19. - ➤ The Northern Section boys soccer playoffs began Tuesday, Feb. 17 when local teams, including Foothill & Shasta, played in Division I first-round matchups.
