  • Starting Monday, the Redding Rancheria Recovery Department is hosting a coat drive on Churn Creek Road where clean coats + jackets and sweaters for all ages are accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Friday.  Action News Now
  • The church is hosting the 3rd Annual Redding Seed Swap for the community on Saturday, Jan. 31 from noon to 3 p.m. at the lower level (Rooms 10-11), where residents can trade seeds, plants and more.  ShastaScout
  • On Monday, Jan. 26, Bethel Church leaders apologized for not handling claims against ministry leader Shawn Bolz and introduced Safe Church, a new process that lets parishioners report concerns.  ShastaScout

CULTURE NEWS

  • Shasta College presents a Japanese woodblock prints exhibition featuring historical masterpieces including Hokusai's The Great Wave off Kanagawa and works by contemporary Ukiyo-e artists.
