- ➤ A Redding veteran’s lost emotional support corgi was found trapped on an island in the Sacramento River after a two-month search—she was taken to Cottonwood Small Animal Clinic on November 16 and renamed Mindy. - ➤ Yesterday, Queen of Dragons dispensary in Shasta Lake gave turkeys to 20 locals and opened an ongoing food pantry to support those in need — the business will also hold December drawings for ham, sports merch and a big screen TV with items donated by Northstate farmers. KRCR
- ➤ Demitri Camperos, a survivor of the Eaton Fire, walked more than 500 miles from Altadena to Paradise and met local leaders to learn wildfire recovery techniques — his trek marked a key step after losing his childhood home in January and he plans to share these lessons with his community.
